Search for a specific video

Use TITLE SEARCH in HELIN to find a specific video title

Title:

Use AUTHOR SEARCH in HELIN to find videos featuring a specific director or actor (use "lastname, firstname" format, i.e. "Fellini, Federico" or "Olivier")

Name:

Including American History in Video, Counseling and Therapy in Video, Dance in Video, Theatre in Video, Education in Video, Ethnographic Video Online, and Filmakers Library and others.

The Media Resources Department welcomes suggestions for the purchase of videos, CDs, and online videos which support the University's curriculum. All suggestions will be reviewed by the Resources Librarian.

To limit your search to video (VHS and DVD) or music (CD) materials in the Roger Williams video collection:

Search HELIN

1. Search by keyword, title, author (i.e. director actor, composer) or subject (i.e. horror, racism, piano sonata, etc).
2. Choose MODIFY SEARCH from the top of the screen.
3. Limit your search by selecting Roger Williams University in the drop down list of libraries and from the MATERIAL type drop down choose VIDEO/SLIDES or AUDIO CD.

Videos and DVDs are arranged by the Library of Congress classification system (i.e. AV DEPT PN1997.D75 1997). Music CDs are identified by an internal accession number (i.e. AV Dept CD 90). Bring the Call # to the Circulation Desk where a worker will retrieve the item. The collection is not accessible for browsing without approval.
