How to Find a Book: HELIN and Interlibrary Loans

HELIN and Interlibrary Loans

If RWU doesn't own a book that you are looking for, you can easily request it from another library by clicking on the Request Item through HELIN button (preferable) or the Request Item through Interlibrary Loan button.

Note: You must be logged into the library website to request an ILL or HELIN loan. If you are not logged in, you will be prompted to login using your RWU single sign-on credentials.

When you click on the Request Item through HELIN button, you will be asked to specify a pickup location (main library or architecture library) and a need-by date. Enter that information and click on the Submit button.

When you click on the Request Item through Interlibrary Loan button, an ILL request form will automatically populate for the item you are requesting. Review the form for accuracy and click on the Submit Request button.

You will receive an email when your book is ready for pick-up. HELIN books usually arrive within 2-3 days, while ILL books may take up to two weeks to arrive.
