Organizing References in Folders

Watch a short tutorial (3:19 minutes) on organizing your references into folders, or refer to the steps below.

Create a New Folder

  1. Click on the + Add a Folder tab
  2. Type the folder name

Your folder will be displayed in the left column under the folder icon in RefWorks.  You can then add references to your folder(s). 

Add an unassigned citation to a folder

Select the unassigned citation and hen click the folder icon on the top row.

Add the citation to the desired folder.
