Instructional Design: Teaching Remotely

Instructional Design Services

Learning Technologies Training and Development

The Instructional Design & Technologies unit of the Center for Scholarship, Assessment, Learning. Teaching & Technology (CSALT²) and our Learning Commons partners, provides a range of options for faculty and student development around instructional technologies from one-on-one consultations, to on-campus workshops, online workshops, in-class tutorials and just-in-time access to electronic tutorials and documentation. Options include:

One-on-One Consultations

If you would like to make an appointment with a member of the Instructional Design staff to learn about a specific software or strategy, please send e-mail to id@rwu.edu and include your name, contact information, the topic you wish to work on and your availability. Someone will get back to you to schedule a meeting. Most meetings will be held in our Faculty Innovation & Learning Lab (FILL) on the first floor of the University Library.

Group Sessions by Request

The ID staff is also available to do departmental or small group workshops on request. These can be done right in your department if this works for the group. Please send your request for this type of session to id@rwu.edu and include your contact information, the topic you would like covered, the members of the group that would like to be included and some suggested meeting times.

On-Campus Workshops

If you prefer to come onto campus to participate in a hands-on instructional design or learning technologies instructor-led session then please explore the current sessions and register for a topic of interest. If you don't see what you want, please send e-mail to id@rwu.edu and request a session. We'll do our best to accommodate your needs.

The team will do its best to accommodate your needs.
